S-Summer Party!?

The nationwide event that paints the whole country with color! Entrance is free! There will be battles, illustrator signings, goods, quizzes--Fire Emblem fans and Cipher fans alike can enjoy to their hearts' content!

Ohh~! That sounds amaziiing!

Doesn't that sound fun!? Well, get on with the details, then!

She's been skulking about waiting for her chance for a while now.

Well, all that doesn't concern me. Shade! Tell me about this Summer Party!

Alriiight!

First off, illustrator signings! This time, we have Hidari, Sachiko Wada, Kotaro Yamada, Senri Kita, and Daisuke Izuka on board for our signings!

Additionally, each illustrator will be doing their own live painting!

Last year's live paintings were interesting! I am glad they will be performing them this year as well!

It is rare to get to see an illustrator paint in real life like this! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, so don't miss out!

My top recommendations would be the "Artworks: Extra Selection", "Big Summer Towel" and the "Cipher Fortunes"!

Hoh... I've not seen any of these before, they must be new for this event.

"Artworks: Extra Selection" is an artbook made to commemorate Cipher's 3rd anniversary--it contains only illustrations that have not yet been features in the previous "Artworks" books! It has twice as many illustrations as the prior Artworks books as well. Here, I'll show you a small selection of them!!

They even have illustrations from promo cards... yes, this is a treasure for sure!

After that, we have the Big Summer Towel This is a biiig, fluffy towel with a life-sized photo of Tiki on it! It's very nice and plush!

You can get a sense of it's size compared to Producer Kawade.

Wooow! It's so comfy that you won't wanna take your hands off of it!

And, and! Let's not forget, our Cipher Fortunes--complete with pictures of characters as they appear in Cipher!

Umm... why, exactly, are we selling fortunes at a Cipher event?

Well, a summer party brings to mind a summer festival, and festivals are usually held at shrines, and shrines usually sell fortunes... so that's why.

I don't think there could be anything MORE fitting for our summer party!

I-Is that so...

The text on the fortune is written in-character. Test your luck by getting one if you come to the event!

Alright! I'm gonna do my best to get a "Great Blessing"!

Ahhh! I want one too!

Hahaha! The fortune you get is the one you were destined to pull that day... effort will make no difference.

We have plenty of other attractive goods as well, including T-shirts and playmats, so come and take a look for yourelf. Some items, like card sleeves, and playmats, are exclusive to specific venues!

And if you spend at least 1000 yen, you'll receive a ticket to participate in some of our minigames!

And if you clear the minigames--can you believe it!? You'll receive a B2-sized poster! So do your best!

Wow, what a nice poster! I want it!

Even if you do not succeed, all who try will receive a marker card as a participation reward!

So there's the signings, the goods, but there will be battles too, right?

Without a doubt! There's the Experience area for those who need to learn to play, the Free Battle area, the Girls-Only Area for women--so there are plenty of opportunities to experience Cipher in your own way!

Staff will find you an opponent, so you are welcome to come by yourself.

And among the plans for the battles, the highlight of the Summer Party is a special kind of Cipher with new rules...

It's called "Dynamite Cipher"!!!

D-Dynamite!?

W-what... what on earth does that mean?

Instead of using your usual cards for your orbs, we have special "out" and "safe" cards that you put in your Orb Area!

You play the match as usual, and when an orb is destroyed, you flip one of those cards. Any of those cards is either an "out" or "safe" card--and you won't know which it is until you flip it!

If you flip one of those cards and it's an "out" card, it's game over!

What!? If your luck is bad enough, you could lose on turn one!

That's right. But some of the "safe" cards has a powerful effect, so if you're lucky enough, you can really turn the tables!

I see... you don't know what the outcome will be until you flip that card... what an adrenaline rush! My heart would be racing!

Just like real dynamite! How interesting!

There are a couple of special rules, such as the attacker getting to choose which orb is destroyed, but outside of that, it is essentially a standard Cipher match.

Those who play it at the event will get their own set of "out" and "safe" cards, so you'll want to give it a try for yourself!

Outside of those, there's the Quiz Area, Coloring Area, and Beginners' Cipher Class, among others...

But what I'd like to bring your attention to is the Symbol General Election!!

That's a new one. So what is this, exactly?

At the venue, a stamp sheet will be distributed to all participants. If you collect at least 3 stamps, you will receive 3 marker cards of your choice...

Yaaay, marker cards! I'm so happy!

...as well as a ballot for the Symbol General Election!

Put your ballot in the ballot box of your favorite symbol, and at the end, we will tally the results!

By "symbol", you mean such as "Brand" or "Blade of Light"--the ways the cards are categorized. I wonder which symbols are most popular. What an interesting project!

Moreover! Each ballot box is also a raffle--one voter from each, so seven voters total, will be selected to receive an oversized card!

And one particular voter will receive a special oversized card!!

O...oversized...!?

Look how big it is compared to a normal card!

Waaah! It really IS huge!!

So how do the normal oversized cards and the special oversized card differ?

The standard oversized cards are stamped and holo as a Rare card is, but the special oversized card has that special transparent surface that super rare cards have!

What! I have to get my hands on that!

Sooo, in total, 8 people at each venue will be receiving an oversized card... so counting all four venues, that's 32 people!

That many? How generous! Well, I have no choice but to vote!

Cipher events have a Photo Area where you can take photos with the legendary weapons of the Fire Emblem series... and this year a new weapon will appear!

What! Are you serious!?

Completely! This year, the Sol Katti as wielded by Lyn in Series 13 will debut at our Summer Party!!

So there will be Eliwood's Durandal, Hector's Armads, and Lyn's Sol Katti! Now that is something worth getting fired up for!
