The First Anniversary Card Reprints are reprints of prior promotional cards.
This time, the reprints are "Chrom: Ever-Just Prince" and "Marth: Prince in Hiding".
I getcha... The illustrations are the same, but the card on the right has a "First Anniversary Logo". Stylish...
Ohh!
Mister Chrom's card is holo this time!
And this set's promotional cards are Sir Sigurd and Sir Xander. Oooh!
I've got to get my hands on both of them~!
And the sleeves feature illustrations from the original boxart for "Binding Blade" and "Radiant Dawn".
Those who fancy themselves fans will certainly want them.
As far as the 1st Anniversary Card Reprints, Series 6 Promotional Cards, and Original Card Sleeves, each one comes in two varieties. Opening your box and finding out which ones you received is quite the rush!
Sooo, "Binding Blade" and "Path of Radiance" characters are the center of Series 5, right?
Indeed. Released in 2002 for the GameBoy Advance, "Binding Blade" centers around the young Lord Roy of Pherae, and his fight against the Empire of Bern, their invasion, and the dragon of legend they've resurrected.
Binding Blade cards feature the new "Legendary Weapon" symbol, which focus on a support theme.
Like cards with 2 support skills,
cards with support skills despite being higher cost,
and even cards that affect the next support card drawn!
Ohh~!
Those're some moves we haven't seen before, huh!
I'll be making my debut as one of these Legendary Weapon cards,
by the way. Countin' on you all.
The other feature is Radiant Dawn. Released for the Wii in 2007,
"Radiant Dawn" takes place three years following the events of Path of Radiance.
It depicts the events of the war ravaging Tellius through the eyes of various protagonists,
including Sothe & Micaiah, Ike, and Elincia.
These are new cards under the Medallion Symbol first debuting in Series 3.
They feature the new "Mastery" level classes, as well as more Level-Up Skills.
"Mastery Class" has such a ring to it--so cool!
I want to give them a try as soon as I can!
Until now, there have been SR and R versions of cards... but starting with this set, there will also be alternate illustration versions of cards!
S-So fancy...!
Well, these kinda make me want to get both versions!
And! Of course, there will be more signed cards as well!
The signed cards this time are signed by Sir Jun Fukuyama, the voice actor for Roy; Sir Kotaro Yamada,
the artist for the official manga; Sir Junji Majima, Sothe's voice actor; and Lady Natsuko Kuwatani, Micaiah's voice actress.
So fancy, so fancy! They're just too much~!
Let's show off some more cards!
Ohh~! This is the Roy featured on the packaging for the Starter Deck!
Cool!
Lady Fir and Lady Nephenee are looking as brave as ever.
For me, it has to be Ike. Such a biting look on his face.
You can almost hear him yelling "Aether"
Come to think of it, we got an "Aether" from Sir Ike's voice actor, Michiko Hagi!
There were a lot of wonderful card readings.
It was a great time.
Miss VALSHE, Singer and voice actor of Hayato; Mister Kotaro Yamada,
the manga artist; and idol Riko Wakana, who cosplayed as Felicia,
all showed up to the stream. It was so much fun!
Cipher's 5 series was released to much excitement from everyone!
Fighting through the supports of Legendary Weapon cards is in-style, right?
Fie, you mustn't refuse the call of the Medallion!
Everyone did their best illustrating all of the cards this time around!

Enjoy Series 5!

Well, with that out of the way,
let's move onto information about the "Cipher Caravan" first anniversary event!
We talked about it just the other day...

Ooo... the anticipation!
The winner will receive another set of promotional cards as reward.
Next up are the Quest Battles!
These are matches held with various odd rules and specifications.
I've heard they've added more quests to the lineup!
I'm really excited to see them!
There's also the Free Battle Area,
where you can use your own deck to enjoy battles at your leisure.
Staff will help you find a worthy opponent,
so all you need is a deck to your name and you can take part!
In the Tutorial Area, staff will explain to you how to play the game
in a manner that's easy to understand and digest.
Decks are provided by staff as well,
so you're welcome to come empty-handed.

In addition to the card binders, it looks like they're adding tote bags
and ballpoint pens to the new item lineup!
Along with the Artbook, the can badge sets, and the Playmats...
new items abounds.
I actually want to talk more about that
"Fire Emblem 0 Artworks IV" today!

And plenty of cute girls, too...
that's an instant buy for me.
Let's not forget the Quiz Area.
There are quizzes posted across each venue
where series veterans can test their Fire Emblem knowledge.
They look to be difficult.
Fans should test their mettle against them!
And, aaand! The Photoshoot Area!
You can dress up as all your favorites, like Marth and Ike,
and get your photo taken.
In addition to the previously available Ragnell and Falchion,
we've added the Sword of Seals and a Roy costume to the available props
for your enjoyment!
By participating in any of these events, you can receive this stamp sheet.
For each area you participate in,
you can add a stamp on your stamp sheets!
This image already has the stamps filled in,
but the one you receive will be blank.
You'll have to collect them by participating!
Those of you who collect as least 3 stamps will get a special set of Marker Cards.
※One set available per person
Participate in various events, collect your stamps,
and get those marker cards for yourself!
Miss Shade... they're gonna show that on stage too, right?
Very astute, Emma!
The Fire Emblem Sound Staff's very own
Cavalier Duo will be performing!
They posted one of their practice sessions on Twitter...
seems like they're just about done preparing...
I am anticipating a fine performance.
I'll be waiting with bated breath, as should you.
"Producer Kawade's Cipher Crash Course"
will also be held on stage.
Producer Kawade's gonna demonstrate
how to make a deck and play the game
We've got a special explanatory booklet that we will be handing out for visual reference
during the course so that you can enjoy the lesson to it's fullest!
A perfect opportunity for those who haven't yet mastered deck-building
or playing the game.
And if you haven't tried the game,
definitely check out that Tutorial Area!
I think that's about everything we wanted to introduce, isn't it?
Seem's there's a lot being offered...
yeah, I'm interested.
Aye, it has piqued my interest as well!
Oh, right, I had one more thing to say.
Something else?
On the official Cipher website,
they're holding the "Cipher Symbol Derby"--
they want to see which symbol you all think will end up boasting
the most battle-winning lords during the Cipher Caravan Tournament.
Those who predict it right will be entered into a lottery with a grand prize,
so get your guesses in!
The form is here!
Submissions are due by Thursday, 6/30
remember it well!
As winners are announced, we'll be publishing which Symbols their lords belonged to,
so feel free to watch for updates and get hyped!
And that's everything. For real, this time.
The Cipher Caravan on top of the Series 5 Release...
plenty to be excited about around here.
Of course! And things will only heat up from here...
I must begin training for the tournament!
The Cipher Caravan
