This series contains characters from Mystery of the Emblem, Awakening,
and the new Wii U game, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, right?
Right. Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem was released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo. It follows the journey and battles of Prince Marth across Archanea.
The first half was a remaster of the original Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and the second half followed the war that came after. This time, our cards depict images and scenes mainly from that second half.
Fire Emblem: Awakening was released in 2012 for the Nintendo 3DS. It was a smash hit, and contained many now-popular elements and mechanics of the series, such as a customizable Avatar, Support Conversations, and Marriage. Many second generation units that were not in series 1 debut in this series.
Whoa! You know an awful lot about it, Miss Yuzu!
Know thine enemy, as they say! Gathering intel is part of the art of war!
And, and… characters from the brand-spanking new Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, which just released in December of last year, also debut here!
Indeed. The game features idols and highschoolers who have awakened to their abilities as Mirage Masters fighting alongside Fire Emblem characters such as Chrom and Caeda.
Now, let’s show off some of those cards!
Ah! These are those cards that they showed in the livestream the other day~!
Tsubasa is looking cute as ever~!
Lady Severa and Lady Say’ri… even Lady Panne!
All fine opponents—may the battle begin soon!
Of course, we also have important characters like Hardin, Nina, and Sirius.
You can use the new cards for Mystery of the Emblem and Awakening in combination with cards of the same color from Series 1, can’t you?
That’s right! Of course, you can enjoy Series 4 on its own, but by combining them with cards from Series 1, you can unlock all sorts of new strategies.
The Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE cards feature the new Mirage type cards, which combine with each other in special ways… it would surely make for an interesting battle!
They’ve replicated one of the main mechanics of the original game called Carnage Form, in which Mirages fight alongside their masters as weapons. You’ll notice that when the Carnage Form skill is active on a character, they can’t be destroyed!
Huuuh!? You can’t beat them!?
Isn't that kinda OP?! That's basically cheating!
There must be some sort of countermeasure…
Come at me! I’ll show your Mirages defeat with a single card!
Fufufu, everyone, I hope you enjoy battling against and alongside Mirages!
That said, Shade… I heard there were also some signed cards in this set...
Yes, yes! You heard right!
Foil cards with signatures are also included in this series!
Woooow! There are so manyyy!
Oui! The lineup this time is quite lavish! Itsuki’s Voice Actor, Mr. Ryōhei Kimura, Tsubasa’s Ms. Inori Minase, Touma’s Mr. Yūki Ono, Kiria’s Ms. Yoshino Nanjō, Eleonora’s Ms. Ayane Sakura, Mamori’s Ms. Kaori Fukuhara, Yashiro and Robin’s Mr. Yoshimasa Hosoya, and Lucina’s Ms. Yū Kobayashi! And on top of that… manga artist Maki Hakoda, who drew some of the cards… what a dignified cast of signatures!
So much famous voice talent! So many beautiful voices! Oooh...
I'm gonna have to collect them all!
How cute Yoshino Nanjō’s signature is…
I’ve had my eye on that card ever since it appeared on stream!
And the Marth card with Maki Hakoda’s signature!
The one card any long-time Fire Emblem fan can’t resist!
Ah, right, right!
We're in some cards this series too, aren't we?
Yes, these ones!
Yuzu as a Hero and Sniper, Emma as a Dark Pegasus, and myself as a Dark Knight. Look forward to seeing us, everyone!
Miss Yuzu gets two cards?!
No fair! Miss Yuzu, you fight dirty!
...sorry.
Hey, what are you hiding for!?
N-Nay… it’s just… it’s a touch embarrassing, is all.

Oh, did I hear something about a pegasus? Perhaps you would like to reconsider?
Eeek! No fair! Using a bow is cheating, Miss Yuzu!
…No fighting, children. Let’s have a safe trip to the card shop, shall we…
Ahem! Well then, everyone!

See you at the shooops!!!
