Description
Hana Focuses on her B20 Promo to give both bulkiness and an ability to clear. Early game she resists hits from Purple based aggro and most midrange. Mid game she uses her tempo granted by Hinoka and Florina to close the game out quickly.
Access to purple not only gives you additional 1 costs, but access to Florina 4(3) allows you to run far more tech cards much more consistently. Florina allows you to either heal a 3 cost flier and immediately deploy it. Or if you already have a card you want to deploy in hand, deploy that and heal another flier (usually a Hinoka 5 or Hana crit), causing drawing your techs to not always be a dead card. Turn 4 you'll almost always want to play Hinoka or Florina, and drop either a tech card to answer your opponent, or one of your generic threats depending on who's applicable (Emma can attack with Range, Sumia can draw you cards, and Gale hits for 70+40 on offense.). The increased access to Techs allows you to run them at 1 or 2-ofs and still get them out consistently against problem decks. Purple Hana lacks card draws options, but hopefully makes up for this in Tempo and the amount of openers she has. You should be playing Florina/Honoka's turns 4-6, and hope to close out the game there.
Alternative Tech Options:
b18 Tana in place of a purple 1 cost
b22 colorless Ceada
b03 Tanith
Keep techs at 1 or 2, 2 if you want to see them consistently. 2 Means you can avoid selfs while still healing crits with Florina.
